The school was established in 2012 by Mr. Jayanta Das, a trained and experienced Montessorian as the first privately managed English Medium School adopting the montessori method of instruction at the Pre-Primary stage.

The school aims to promote the development of the child's social skills, emotional prints and body and mind coordination, and to prepare him or her for future intellectual and physical activities. The is done through the use of Montessori apparatus and methodologies in bright and well equipped class-room with individual seating arrangement suitable to the age group the child belongs to. Children completing their Pre-Primary education gets automatic admission into Class 1 of the Westwood English Medium School for their onwards study up to Class 10.
